We are following Scottish Government Guidelines in relation to COVD-19. Colleges are stage 4 of the plans to ease lockdown which means we cannot open our campuses to school pupils at the moment. We will be delivering our Schools College Partnership courses online from 8 September. We hope to be able to welcome pupils to our campuses from January 2021, or earlier if it is safe to do so.
The
senior phase provision offers a full range of part-time college courses for S4-S6 pupils whilst still at school.
There is a wide range of vocational subjects on offer to complement existing studies including SCP courses, Foundation Apprenticeships and Academies. These course options count as one of the column choices which can be added into existing timetables. All senior phase courses offer progression on to full-time Edinburgh College courses.
Attendance patterns vary, but the majority of these courses are studied at college over 2 half days, with some courses providing an opportunity for a work placement with an employer. As well as building skills and confidence, pupils benefit from pathways to employment and further study.
Vocational pathways ensure pupils are better prepared for the world of work and enhance post-school choices.
Dedicated Schools Liaison Officers are on campus to provide support to pupils whilst attending college and are the main point of contact for schools.
If you are interested in any of our school college programmes please contact your school guidance teacher who will be able to help you complete an application form.
