We’re looking forward to welcoming new and returning students to Edinburgh College for the 2020/21 session.
All of our full-time courses started the week beginning Monday 7 September as part of a phased start to the new term. For the start of the semester the vast majority of our courses will be delivered solely online. It is important that no students or visitors come onto campuses unless they have been told to do so to attend classes or have a pre-booked appointment with Student Services.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our Edinburgh College community will continue to be our main priority. This means access to college campuses will be limited.
A limited number of courses will adopt a blended approach to teaching and learning, with some online delivery, and some on campus face-to-face teaching. Students on those courses will have been contacted by their lecturer with more information and health and safety guidance for keeping safe.
We know that learning and teaching online will provide challenges but our EC Community is on hand to help support people through adapting to new ways of studying.
The majority of our staff are continuing to work from home and are available virtually to provide support and guidance to our students, partners and stakeholders.
While this term might look a bit different to previous years, we’re committed to making sure all of our students feel a part of our Edinburgh College community and are able to undertake their studies in a safe and welcoming environment.
