These workshops are specifically designed for adults and school pupils who are applying through UCAS for specialist study in Art and Design. Most Art Colleges now require applicants to produce and collate an e-folio or digital folio and upload it as part of their UCAS application. During the workshops you will receive guidance on your UCAS application and digital folio from experienced staff at Edinburgh College school of art.
Workshops will include sessions on UCAS Personal Statements and entry requirements for various university degree courses across the UK. You will learn how to prepare, collate and produce an effective digital folio.
You will be asked to bring along your own artwork that you have produced to each workshop. This will allow you to engage in the sessions and use image manipulation software, photography and scanning techniques. This will ensure that your artwork is digitally uploaded to a suitable level for your digital folio. You will also receive guidance from College lecturers on how to prepare for interviews and choose the correct further study course for you to maximise the success of getting into your desired career.
