Midlothian Campus

If you choose to attend a course at the Midlothian Campus, you can look forward to the very best in classroom facilities, including specialist spaces for childcare.  All our classrooms and study areas are equipped with the very latest in Smartboard technology.

The Trades Pavilion gives technology students an industry standard training facility with purpose built workshops and the very best in services and equipment.  Within the Pavilion are 5 carpentry and joinery workshops, a fully equipped  motor vehicle centre, and, for plumbing and gas students, new workshops, project areas and gas training and assessment centres.  We have one of only 3 oil simulator platforms in the country, helping us to achieve national recognition as a centre of excellence for Measurement & Control engineering.

Our Library and  Learner Base will give you easy access to PCs as well as more traditional library materials.  You will be able to access the internet and make full use of the printing and scanning facilities in this relaxed and stimulating new addition to the college.

Learning Support and Student Services teams are on hand to give assistance and support where you need it.

For lunch and break times, you can enjoy a meal or snack with friends in the 150 seat Food Court.  There’s also a vending bank if you just want to grab a cup of coffee and a quick snack.

Midlothian Campus has car parking for staff and students, operated using a permit system.  Car sharing is actively encouraged.  You can also reach the campus by public transport.
