As a Modern Apprentice you will be employed from the very start of your training and receive a wage from your employer. Attending college at Jewel & Esk gives you the chance to study the theory related to your chosen occupation and gain vital skills like teamwork and problem solving.
Apprentices at Jewel & Esk College have a great track record with many winning national competitions. Students currently hold the Midlothian Apprentice of the Year title, Best 1st year Apprentice Carpenter Scotland and Best Adult Apprentice Scotland.
