Michael Russell MSP Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, visited Jewel & Esk College on Friday 26th February.   

Tanya Morrison was awarded the Adult Literacy CLAN prize at the Jewel and Esk Graduation ceremony held at Edinburgh International Conference Centre recently. Tanya, from Carberry, was unanimously selected by lecturers to receive the award which recognises achievement and improvement in adult learners.

First Minister Alex Salmond MSP and Sir Tom Farmer CVO CBE KCSG DL officially opened the Hibernian Learning Centre at Easter Road Stadium.

A delegation of Jewel & Esk students, headed by Heather McKnight president of the Student Association, presented a paper at the NUS/SFC funded Carbon Ambassador's conference held at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh. More Info  

  Jewel & Esk College has announced the appointment of its new Principal and Chief Executive, Mandy Exley.    Currently Principal of Perth College UHI, Mandy will take up the role at Jewel & Esk College on 1st April 2010. 

Jewel & Esk College graduation was held at the Edinburgh Initernational Conference Centre early in December.  Close to 1,000 students, family and friends filled the main auditorium at EICC for the annual graduation and prizegiving ceremony.
