Jewel & Esk’s friendly and approachable staff across the college are here to help you, giving you the confidence, knowledge and skills to develop and succeed in your chosen career.
Each campus has a learner base providing a study area with easy access to PCs to help you complete your college work. Internet access and Microsoft Office are available at both campuses, along with Adobe CS4 at Edinburgh Campus. You can also access printing and photocopying facilities.
Learning assistants provide support in these learner bases and are there to help you with your work. They can also help you to make the best use of the available resources, so please ask.
As well as providing support in learner bases, learning assistants assist lecturers in classes, give students one to one support and help to run Discover, Jewel & Esk College’s online learning environment.
