Jewel & Esk’s friendly and approachable staff across the college are here to help you, giving you the confidence, knowledge and skills to develop and succeed in your chosen career.
Each campus has a bright and spacious Library Learning Centre, equipped with wireless laptops, where you can study on your own or with friends.
In addition to borrowing specialist books for your course, you can access a collection of databases and electronic books. We also stock a range of newspapers and journals.
When you start your course the library staff will show you and your classmates how to find the resources you need for your college work. Our online resources are available on and off campus.
Wireless laptops are provided so that you can work anywhere within the Library Learning Centre without being confined to a fixed location. The laptops come with all the usual software applications found on desktop PCs.
If you need any help, please ask us - library staff are always available to help you.
You will also find facilities for DVD-viewing, audio-playback, photocopying and printing within the library learning centres.

Search the library catalogue (Heritage) to find books, DVDs and other resources to support your course. You can log in to the catalogue to check your loan account and also to reserve books.
When you register with the library, you can also register for an Athens account. The Athens authentication system gives access, on or off campus, to some really useful resources which cannot be accessed freely on the web. (Contact the library for log-on details).
