Evening & Leisure Courses

The programme usually covers a wide range of skills and knowledge, from part time HNCs and longer courses eg COSCA counselling, to short courses in a variety of skills such as automotive maintenance, accounting, cake decorating or sign language.

Browse through our current brochure to choose a class that interests you, or use the course search. You can choose evening only, to narrow down your results.

For more details on opening your ILA, call ILA on 0808 100 1090 or go to www.ilascotland.org.uk

Some of our evening courses are eligible for ILA funding – please speak to our information team for details on 0131 344 7100.

Part-time Fee Grant (formerly known as ILA 500)
This scheme provides up to £500 a year towards the cost of tuition fees.
To qualify for this funding, you should have an individual income of £22,000 a year or less.

You also need to be studying a part-time Higher Education course, eg HNC, HND or PDA at levels 7-11 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF). You must be studying at least 50% of the time needed to complete a full time course. Eligible learners studying less than this may qualify for the ILA200 offer.

Refunds and Withdrawals
If you withdraw from a course after booking and paying for a place, we will charge a cancellation fee in certain circumstances. For full details please see our Tuition Fees - Refund and Withdrawal Policy and Procedures, in the financial policies area of the website.
